Volunteer Opportunities


 

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the gardens and to meet new and interesting people. Whatever you talent, there is a volunteer opportunity available for you at Lakewold. The following lists just a few of the year-round volunteer activities that are available. Volunteer Opportunities

Grounds maintenance
Assist the Horticulture Team in accomplishing various grounds maintenance tasks, including fall bed cleanup, bulb planting, leaf removal, weeding, spreading mulch material, etc. 

Docent
Learn to be a Lakewold tour guide!  Meet people from all over the world. Share the legacy of Eulalie Wagner, as well as the rich history of Lakewold Gardens. Tours are approximately 2 hours long and occur primarily during the months of April through September.

Special Events
Hostess for various fund raising events at Lakewold. Involves greeting, coffee service, ticket taking, etc. Also opportunities to work garden shows.
